FocalPoint – The Story Behind the Brand
A look behind the scenes
Business Owners are always looking for the competitive edge. Even back in the 70′s during the heyday of seminars, people would come to see Brian speak, and go back to their offices to apply the lessons.
But something was always missing. There was no follow up. No accountability to a new plan. Audience feedback to Brian was clear – we need you to do more than just be a talking head. We need more on “do”.
So, FocalPoint Coaching was born as a quarterly, you-fly-to-us model. This worked well as you can read in our case studies, but had its own challenges. Brian Tracy operated with this model in San Diego, California and Sydney, Australia.
Meanwhile…
Meanwhile, Steve Thompson had been developing a different business coaching franchise concept. Brian recognised that to truly grow and leverage FocalPoint he had to walk the talk, and leverage himself out of the day to day coaching and delivery. This of course is exactly the same as many business owners face in growing their own businesses.
Recognising the need to have “the right people on the right bus”, Brian Tracy and Steve Thompson struck a deal, and FocalPoint became a Business Coaching Franchise, “Powered by Brian Tracy” .
Our coaches use Brian Tracy as the infrastructure for business improvement and we add other, relevant and world class content as well.
The Franchise Business Review is an independent body that survey’s the franchise industry with respect to franchisee satisfaction. They are an impartial polling organization.
